Robert Half has partnered with a global consumer goods business to recruit for a Temporary Finance Assistant.

Role details:
1. Contract: September - 31 December 2025
2. Hours: Full-time
3. Location: Mostly remote with occasional on-site requirements
4. Rate: £200-225 per day (Umbrella, inside IR35)
Key responsibilities:
5. Collating import/export documentation for indirect tax compliance
6. Preparing and packaging invoice copies to support VAT return submissions
7. Assisting with audit and tax queries from external advisors and internal stakeholders
8. Extracting invoices and reports from the ERP system and consolidating data
9. Supporting administrative processes around tax compliance
Requirements:
10. Previous accounting or finance experience (tax exposure not essential)
11. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
12. Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external advisors
13. Proactive and organised approach to workload
