About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects across London. The role will involve managing schemes from pre-construction through to final handover, ensuring they are delivered to programme, budget, and the highest quality standards. Projects will include a mix of refurbishment, fit-out, and structural works across a range of sectors.
Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously from inception to completion.
* Lead project delivery teams, ensuring effective coordination between site managers, contractors, and consultants.
* Develop and maintain programmes, monitoring progress against key milestones and financial targets.
* Ensure strict compliance with health & safety legislation, building regulations, and statutory requirements.
* Maintain strong client relationships, attend meetings and provide regular progress updates.
* Manage contractual obligations, including variations, change control, and administration of client instructions.
* Drive quality, design compliance, and risk management across all projects.
* Support and mentor project managers and site-based teams to ensure consistent high delivery standards.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, managing multiple large-scale projects.
* Strong background in commercial interiors, Cat A/B fit-outs, refurbishments, and structural works.
* Excellent knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and compliance standards.
* Consistent career history with evidence of successfully delivering projects in the UK.
* Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
* Relevant industry certifications (e.g. CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid).
