Residential / Commercial Property Solicitor - Leicester Full‑Time | Competitive Salary | Flexible Working Considered
Are you an experienced property solicitor looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Residential/Commercial Property Solicitor to join our established team in Leicester.
About the Role
You will handle a varied caseload covering both commercial and residential property matters. This includes acting for sellers, purchasers, landlords, and tenants across a wide range of property types such as industrial units, retail premises, restaurants, bars, offices, hotels, and residential portfolios.
Your work will involve transactions of all sizes—from supporting first‑time commercial tenants to managing matters for clients with large investment property portfolios. The role requires the ability to guide clients through complex legal issues, ensuring they are fully supported throughout negotiations and decision‑making processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a broad caseload of commercial property matters, including sales, purchases, leases, and portfolio management.
* Advising residential landlords on all aspects of tenancies, including possession proceedings, rent arrears recovery, dilapidation issues, and enforcement of covenants.
* Providing clear guidance on property rights, obligations, and potential disputes.
* Working proactively to deliver solutions‑focused, commercially aware advice.
* Maintaining excellent client relationships and delivering a high standard of service.
About You
* Qualified Solicitor (3+ PQE preferred, but strong candidates at other levels will be considered).
* Strong experience in both commercial and residential property law.
* Confident in managing your own caseload and working independently.
* Commercially astute with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Able to build strong rapport with a broad client base, from individual landlords to seasoned commercial investors.
