The role
We are currently seeking a weekend Breakfast Chef required based in Swindon on the following details: Location: Primarily based at Symmetry Park SN3 , With occasional cover required at Penzance Drive SW1 Role Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Weekend Breakfast Chef to support food preparation and service within a busy operational environment. This role is ideal for someone with food hygiene qualifications who is comfortable working independently at times while maintaining high standards of food safety and service. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve food in line with food hygiene and safety standards Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment Ensure all food handling complies with relevant food safety regulations Support daily catering operations during weekend shifts Manage duties independently when required, particularly when the kitchen operates separately from the wider team Assist with stock handling and general kitchen upkeep Working Hours Saturday and Sunday only 07:00am - 12:00pm (5 hours per day) Additional hours may be available for holiday cover or business needs. Pay & Benefits £13.45 per hour (PAYE) Requirements Valid Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification (essential) Previous experience in a catering, kitchen, or food service role preferred Ability to work independently and take initiative Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety Reliable, punctual, and flexible Working Environment While this is not strictly a lone-working role, there may be times when you are working independently in the kitchen while the warehouse remains operational.
