Opportunity: Apprentice Workshop Engineer
Contract: 4 Year Apprenticeship
Salary: £18,000 in Year 1, wages will increase on a yearly basis providing all targets are achieved
The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. Our 4-year apprentice engineer training programme offers them the chance to become a fully qualified ‘Lift Truck and Powered Access engineering technician'. As part of the team, Briggs Equipment Engineers diagnose faults, carry out servicing, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems across a diverse and expanding range of Materials Handling Equipment.
What will you be doing as an Engineer Apprentice:
1. Years 1 to 3 you will complete the 3-year apprenticeship qualification: Level 3 Lift Truck and Powered Access engineering technician standard.
* Qualification will be completed at F-TEC Engineering Training in Swindon, England.
2. You will gain on-the job experience, starting with shadowing your mentor and other Engineers, progressing to performing tasks under supervision, then alongside qualified Engineers where your work will be checked and signed off.
