Meat & Social is seeking a skilled and motivated FOH team member to assist in delivering exceptional service. The FOH team at Meat & Social will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and cared for throughout their dining experience. As the face of the restaurant, this role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. All FOH teams will be expected to demonstrate knowledge of the restaurant's menu, premium meats, and wine pairings, providing guests with an engaging and memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Experience:
* Greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
* Take accurate food and beverage orders, delivering them efficiently and professionally.
* Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including meat cuts, cooking styles, and wine pairings.
* Anticipate guest needs, ensuring a seamless dining experience from arrival to departure.
* Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests with professionalism and care.
Operational Duties:
* Ensure tables, service stations, and FOH areas are clean, well-presented, and fully stocked.
* Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
* Support the smooth flow of service during peak periods.
* Assist with setting up and closing down FOH operations in line with company procedures.
Sales & Upselling:
* Promote daily specials, signature dishes, and wine pairings.
* Confidently upsell additional items to enhance the guest experience and boost sales.
* Support the team in achieving revenue targets through proactive service.
Compliance & Safety:
* Maintain full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and allergen management protocols.
* Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for staff and guests.
Teamwork & Collaboration:
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high standards of service and efficiency.
* Communicate effectively with BOH teams to manage guest expectations and resolve issues quickly.
Participate in ongoing training to continually improve knowledge of menu items, wines, and service techniques.
