We have an excellent opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our North West Leicester CMHT Team within the directorate of Adult Mental Health. As an Admin Assistant for the North West Leicestershire team you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive administration service to a specific area of the mental health team which will include supporting a clinical team.
In addition to that you will be required to cover the reception which will include meeting and greeting patients face to face and answering the telephone in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
* First point of contact for telephone enquiries and face to face from patients and referrers.
* Work proactively as part of the wider administrative and clinical teams, including other services within the directorate of Mental Health and Clinical and Medical Staff.
* Process referrals, data input, supporting wider teams as per service needs and other general administration duties.
* Telephone and written correspondence with patients, Service Users, liaising with family members/carers, GPs and other primary care services, external NHS services or partner agencies such as Social Care and the Police.
* Maintain a calm and compassionate manner when liaising with service users.
Requirements
* Administration experience and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
* Excellent IT skills and highly organised with good planning skills.
* Strong communication skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to demonstrate values of Compassion, Trust, Respect and Integrity.
* Must be eligible to work in the UK.
