Working Hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

GSL Education London Branch is seeking an experienced Data Manager to join a friendly, supportive co-educational secondary school and Sixth Form in Hackney.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Data Manager who is passionate about education and data accuracy. As a Data Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting students, staff, and leadership through high-quality data systems and reporting.

Responsibilities of the Data Manager
As a Data Manager, your main duties will include:
* Managing and maintaining accurate student and staff data
* Using SIMS to update, track, and report school information
* Supporting senior leaders with data analysis and reports
* Producing exam, attendance, and performance data
* Ensuring data protection and confidentiality at all times
* Working closely with teachers and admin staff
* Meeting deadlines during busy periods, such as exams
* Supporting inspections and audits with accurate data
Requirements for the Data Manager Role
To be successful as a Data Manager, you must have:
* Experience working in a school setting – ESSENTIAL
* Strong IT and data analysis skills
* Good knowledge of SIMS – ESSENTIAL
* Experience using Arbor (desirable)
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines – ESSENTIAL
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong communication and organisation skills
* A professional and positive attitude
