Assistant Manager required for our busy on the outskirts of Yarm, The Ship Inn, situated in Low Worsall, a busy bar restaurant.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years' supervising experience, Personal License would be advantageous but not essential.
Your Key Responsibilities would be:
* General duties
* Efficient Restaurant Management, continuing a high standard of cleanliness
* Staff Management; leading the team by example, delivering constructive feedback when required.
* Day to day operations
* Cash handling and till management
* Increasing sales opportunities
* Building Customer Relations
* Stock Ordering.
* Stock Rotation.
* Liaising with the Management Team as and when required.
* Liaising with the Admin team as and when required.
* Promotion, using social media.
* Managing and taking charge of the online booking system.
You'll need to take ownership of problems, and you'll live by a mantra of 'always doing the right thing'- sometimes needing to think outside the box. Supporting the Managing director is a great way to learn the business side of running the venue. It is a chance to develop your skills and gain the knowledge you need to progress your career even further.
You will be required to work a mixture of days, late evenings and weekends.
To be successful in this role you need to be; enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible and self-motivated.
Wage dependent upon experience.
