Thistly Meadow Primary School is a friendly, popular school with a caring family ethos and an Outstanding Ofsted rating. This is an exciting time for us as we grow our school following a significant extension in 2020.
We have a vacancy for an assistant at our thriving After School Club and a Lunchtime Supervisor (for occasional absence cover). We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and committed person. You will need to be able to provide a safe, stimulating environment for all children, arranging activities and supervise them when they are playing. A paediatric first aid qualification and experience of working in a similar environment or school would be helpful.
Applicants without the necessary experience will be considered as comprehensive training will be given.
Hours of work: Wednesday and Friday 3.00pm to 6pm and lunchtimes 12.00pm to 1pm (as and when required), term time only
Contract: Permanent
Salary is LCC Grade 4 - pay point 5 (£12.85 per hour)
Start date: Wednesday 7th January 2026
