This Ofsted 'Outstanding' setting supports children and young people with Autism, communication needs, and difficulties with social interaction, independence, and emotional regulation. Pupils follow a personalised curriculum, and staff work within a structured, calm, and supportive environment. Each child also has a dedicated Keyworker, who plays a crucial role in building trusting relationships, developing independence, and supporting communication with families. We are currently seeking compassionate and proactive Support Workers to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a caring nature and a passion for helping young people thrive. Key Responsibilities: Support young people with Autism and additional needs throughout the school day and residential routines Assist with developing independence skills, life skills, and social confidence Work 1:1 or in small groups to provide personalised support Contribute to behaviour support using positive and consistent approaches Build trusted relationships as part of the Keyworker model Support pupils in accessing activities, hobbies, and community-based experiences Work shifts including early, late, long-days, weekends and bank holidays Drive pupils using a school minibuses (must be confident driving a standard minibus) What We're Looking For: UK-based experience supporting children, young people, or vulnerable adults A patient, nurturing and resilient approach Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work shifts reliably, including weekends Full UK driving licence (no public transport available to the setting) Commitment to completing Level 3 RQF within 2 years (fully supported) Experience in care, youth work, psychology, residential support or similar roles welcomed Shift Patterns: Early: 07:15 - 15:30 Late: 15:00 - 22:30 Long Day: 07:15 - 22:15 Monarch Education are proud to be a leading recruitment specialist in the Education industry.
