You will be joining a team committed to delivering engaging lessons and helping students develop confidence in discussion, analytical thinking, and the ability to evaluate different perspectives and ideas.
The Role
You will teach Religious Studies across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to contribute to KS5 for the right candidate. Lessons should be engaging, challenging, and inclusive, encouraging students to think critically about religion, philosophy, ethics, and contemporary issues while developing strong written, analytical, and evaluative skills.
The department has a strong culture of collaboration, with teachers regularly sharing ideas, resources, and best practice. There will also be opportunities to contribute to enrichment activities such as debate clubs, philosophy discussions, trips, intervention programmes, competitions, and cross-curricular projects.
Students are well-behaved, motivated, and respond positively to teachers who are supportive, knowledgeable, and passionate about Religious Studies and Humanities.
