Overview
We are looking for a personal assistant to help a 14-year-old male who has a beautiful character. Our client has Dravet syndrome, a learning difficulty, global developmental delay and epilepsy. Although his epilepsy is severe due to prolonged seizures, these are under control and have a system in place to support him. Training is essential in this role, and induction will be provided.
Responsibilities
* Build trust and a professional relationship to support him in daily activities
* Help him to go out to the park and engage in activities he enjoys (he loves bubbles and is engaging)
* Begin with playing at home to build the relationship, then participate in outings
