Senior Geologist

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Senior Geologist to join our Coventry‑based team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in geotechnical disciplines, along with extensive ground investigation experience, is essential to thrive in this position.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
* Day‑to‑day responsibility for planning, supervision and programming of Ground Investigation projects at locations throughout the United Kingdom
* Prepare Health & Safety documentation prior to and during the site works phase, and assist with managing the Health & Safety of operatives and promoting a safe working environment
* Liaise with clients, engineers and main contractors throughout the site works phase
* Compile monthly financial project accounts and assist the GI Projects Manager in maintaining the financial performance of projects
Qualifications
* Qualified to degree level in a geotechnical discipline
* Full UK driving licence
* Minimum fitness required to undertake all site‑based tasks listed above on a variety of sites including active construction sites and linear projects for roads and railways
* 5–10 years relevant site and industry experience
