How you will make an impact
As our Maintenance & Engineering Project Leader, you will join the dynamic engineering team at our Oswestry site, supporting the delivery of both CAPEX and non‑CAPEX projects. You will identify improvement opportunities, ensure safe and efficient project execution, and anchor Arla’s sustainability ambitions in every project you lead.
* Lead CAPEX and non‑CAPEX equipment projects, identifying and driving site improvements.
* Ensure safe project execution by engaging with the safety organisation and embedding Arla’s sustainability goals.
* Plan and deliver projects to agreed time, cost, quality and risk criteria while maintaining strong stakeholder alignment.
* Ensure full compliance with Arla’s project processes, legislation and documentation requirements, safeguarding key knowledge and results.
* Drive efficient project implementation, lead and develop project team members, and support operations through LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives.This role sits within the Engineering function at our Oswestry Packing site and is a days‑based position.
What will make you successful
To succeed in this role, you will bring a blend of technical capability, project leadership and a collaborative mindset. We imagine you have a background as a technician, technical engineer, engineer or project manager within a manufacturing environment, along with experience and financial competence in managing project budgets. You will also have 0–3 years of technical or project management experience following your engineering training.
On a personal level, you will thrive if you are a strong communicator who builds trust with stakeholders, highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities, and motivated by continuous improvement and delivering high‑quality results.
