We have a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Ambulance Driver/Dog Handler to join our team here at PetMedics in Worsley!
This is an annualised hour role with no fixed shift pattern, covering day and night shifts as we operate a 24/7 service covering all 365 days per year.
This position will include:
* Provision of work for our team during times of holidays and sickness, on either day or night shifts for the transportation of animals (we are a 24/7, 365 service)
* Animal handling and transportation (in particular dealing with animals with difficult demeanours) - experience with handling large dogs required
* Animal husbandry and exercising
* Infection control
* Basic administration tasks with animal records
* General housekeeping
* This is a sensitive role with full confidentiality expected
We are looking for someone who has:
* A full and clean driving licence
* Experience handling animals, including the transporting of animals in and out of vehicles
