Reed Business Support is currently seeking a proactive and organised Supply Chain Assistant to join our client's team in Aylesford. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to further their career in supply chain management. As a Supply Chain Assistant, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's supply chain processes.
Day-to-day responsibilities of the Supply Chain Assistant include:
* Assist in managing supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
* Support planning and execution of supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
* Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
* Monitor inventory levels and prepare reports on stock status and movements.
* Assist in analyzing supply chain data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to supply chain activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Supply Chain Assistant or similar role in supply chain management.
* Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
* Proficient in MS Office and familiar with supply chain management software.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
