Dream Medical are working with a RAF base (Ministry of Defense) in recruiting a locum Practice Nurse (Band 6) located in Northumberland.
The Ministry of Defense is looking for a Full time (37.5hrs) Practice Nurse to start ASAP for a fixed 3 month contract.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Competent in Immunisation, Venepuncture, Audiology.
2. Patient Group Directive (PGDs) in a related Community Health discipline or portfolio evidence of equivalent experience.
3. Desirable experience in relevant areas, e.g.:
1. Occupational Health Nursing (OHN)
2. Clinical supervision
3. Supporting Learning and Assessment in Practice (or equivalent)
4. Travel Medicine
5. Cervical Cytology
6. Asthma Diploma
7. Chronic Disease management - diabetes and asthma, etc.
8. Competence in audiometry, smoking cessation, ear syringing and vaccination.
9. Well Woman and family planning clinics.
