About the Role
Are you passionate about making a difference during emergencies? Can you stay calm under pressure?
We are seeking a highly motivated Emergency Planning Assistant to enhance Stoke on Trent City Council's resilience and preparedness. You will be part of the Emergency Planning Team, helping to develop emergency and business continuity plans, training colleagues, and providing guidance to local communities.
This role involves close collaboration with Local Resilience Forum members and internal teams. It is ideal for those interested in a career in emergency planning.
You will attend training courses, complete online eLearning modules, and possibly undertake an apprenticeship in emergency planning.
Candidate Requirements
* Good computer skills, familiar with recent Microsoft applications
* Ability to meet deadlines
