About you:
* At least 2 years of relevant experience working within criminal justice, substance misuse (including alcohol), or social care services with a clear understanding of the need for and ability to deliver quality services.
* A commitment to multi-agency working and establishing partnerships with other professions to achieve good outcomes for the service user group, including mental health services, criminal justice agencies, community groups, etc.
* Extensive knowledge of issues facing offenders, including (but not limited to) substance misuse, health, and personal wellbeing.
* Extensive knowledge of the rehabilitation process and the contributing factors to success, including making long-term sustained changes in offending behavior and social functioning.
* Experience delivering groups or pods and managing group dynamics, such as conflict or challenging behavior.
* Experience working in an outcome-focused environment.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills and a high level of personal IT competency.
* Ability to accurately update and maintain records in a timely fashion and work to deadlines for information submission.
* Ability to travel as required, including in areas where public transport is unavailable.
* Provide leadership in your area of responsibility.
* Ability to manage change effectively, prioritizing the needs of service users.
* Effective interpersonal skills to engage successfully with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to work collaboratively with others, both internally and externally.
