Inpatients Bookings Administrator
Location: Nottingham Woodthorpe Hospital - Nottingham
12 month Fixed Term Contract
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Nottingham Woodthorpe Hospital is currently seeking a driven and hardworking Inpatient Bookings Administrator to join our growing non-clinical team.
Woodthorpe Hospital is part of Ramsay Health Care UK, one of the leading independent healthcare providers in England. The Role:
Working within a fast-paced administration team, you will support the inpatient booking process for patients attending the hospital, including NHS patients. You will need to be highly organized to book pre-admission appointments using the internal electronic elective list. Using our PAS system, you will ensure patients are scheduled and allocated to the appropriate theatre list within agreed timelines. This role also involves ensuring all patients attending the hospital have the appropriate NHS funding. Full in-house training will be provided.
Required Experience and Knowledge:
* Strong administration skills, preferably from a healthcare environment
* Strong attention to detail
* Computer skills including Excel and Word
* Well organized
* Excellent communication skills, working with patients in person and over the phone
* Customer service skills
* Professional and helpful telephone manner, dealing with high call volumes
* Flexible and positive attitude
