This is a new position with the Footsteps Team. Therefore, hours and salary are flexible. (Between 18hrs and 32.5hrs Monday - Friday) The job will be mainly office based, but there is scope for working from home. Office days will be fixed Monday & Friday. Salary £25-£28k pro rata
Footsteps Travel is growing… and we're looking for a creative marketing superstar to join our team We are an award-winning, independent travel company based in Northampton, specialising in escorted tours, cruises, day trips and bespoke holidays. As we continue to expand, we're looking for someone with real marketing flair to help elevate our brand even further.
The successful candidate must have a passion for travel. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive business growth. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for marketing, excellent organisational skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities
Creating social media content Developing and strengthening the Footsteps brand Writing website content promoting trips and tours Designing and sending engaging mailshots Organising consumer events and supplier presentations Supporting promotional campaigns and launches
* Oversee content creation including copywriting for websites, social media posts, newsletters, and promotional materials.
* Analyse campaign performance using Google Analytics and other analysis tools; prepare detailed reports to inform future strategies.
* Coordinate designs to produce visual content using graphic design software.
* Manage social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding and engagement with followers.
* Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
Experience
* Proven experience in a marketing role.
* Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to craft compelling copy for diverse audiences.
* Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
* Knowledge of IT systems relevant to digital marketing tools and platforms is preferred. This role offers an engaging environment where innovative ideas are encouraged, providing ample opportunities for professional development within the marketing sector.
