Job Title: Food Services Assistant Location: Norfolk, PE31 6RH Hours: 35 Hours Per week Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday with occasionalweekend working Salary: £13.45 per hour Sodexo rewards and benefits About the Role We are seeking amotivated and reliable Catering Assistant to support the daily operations ofour catering services. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality foodservice while maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene, andcustomer care. Key Responsibilities Assist with all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service in line with Sodexo standards Deliver a friendly, polite, and efficient service to customers across all catering areas Ensure food is prepared and served in a clean and hygienic environment Serve customers at counters and operate the till when required, including cash handling and end-of-service reconciliation Complete all necessary sales controls and documentation in line with compliance standards Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, appearance, and performance at all times Carry out cleaning duties including equipment, utensils, kitchen areas, and dining spaces according to cleaning schedules Ensure service counters are stocked and replenished throughout service periods Keep tables, service areas, and restaurant floors clean, tidy, and well-presented Refill and maintain vending machines within the restaurant area Prepare service areas for the next shift, including setting up cutlery and crockery Assist with staff rostering if required, ensuring all service areas are adequately covered Undertake routine cleaning such as sweeping and mopping floors daily Why Sodexo?: Working with Sodexois more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
