Reed Education is seeking skilled and inspirational Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCOs) to join our dedicated team in Smallfield/Horley, Surrey. Day to Day of the Role:
* Oversee the special educational needs provision within the school, ensuring all students have access to high-quality education.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create tailored support plans for students.
* Lead training and development for staff on SEN strategies and interventions.
* Monitor and report on the progress of students with additional needs.
* Drive initiatives to foster an inclusive school environment that celebrates diversity and supports all learners.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* A recognised SENCO qualification or equivalent experience in special education.
* QTS
* A proven track record of effectively supporting students with special educational needs.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
* Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with students, staff, and parents.
* A visionary and strategic approach to developing inclusive education practices.
