Job Title: Teaching Assistant Level 2
Location: Milton Keynes (MK12/MK7)
Rate: 90 - 110 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: Term time only
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join a specialist school in Milton Keynes. The school supports learners aged 4 to 19 years with a diverse range of learning challenges and provides three distinct pathways of provision: Structured, Sensory, and Scaffold. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive environment that focuses on tailored education to meet individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide 1:1 and small group support across the Structured, Sensory, and Scaffold pathways
2. Assist in creating a nurturing and structured learning environment
3. Support learners' individual educational and sensory needs
4. Implement strategies to develop communication, engagement, and independence
Key Requirements:
1. Experience working with children or young people with diverse learning needs
2. A calm, patient, and proactive approach
3. Autism experience is highly desirable
4. Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to different learning styles
5. Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification is desirable
