A co-educational independent day and boarding school in Banbury, Oxfordshire, catering to 500 students and staff daily. The role involves core catering services including breakfast, snacks, lunch, and evening meals. The position is term-time only, working 39 weeks, Monday to Friday, with free on-site parking.

Key responsibilities:
1. Supporting the team with serving customers, replenishing stocks, and cleaning.
2. Preparing service areas for daily meal services.
3. Setting up, serving, clearing, cleaning, and storing food, beverages, or equipment for special events.
4. Preparing basic food items following hygiene and safety standards.
5. Restocking and replenishing during service to meet customer needs.
6. Sharing responsibility for dishwashing and pot washing.
7. Managing rubbish disposal and recycling appropriately.
8. Occasionally working evenings and weekends for events and functions.
9. Adhering to food standards and controlling wastage.
10. Following Food Hygiene, Health & Safety policies, and allergen procedures.
Skills required:
1. Teamwork, good listening skills, initiative, personal presentation, hygiene, and behavior.
2. Flexibility, reliability, honesty, and customer service orientation.
3. Willingness to learn and take responsibility.
4. Ability to lift, carry, and push moderately heavy items.
5. Good verbal and written English skills.
6. Experience in customer service or food prep preferred.
