Compliance Analyst – Manchester/London/Newcastle - 18 month contract
We’re looking for a talented Compliance Analyst to join a leading Global Fintech client on a long term (18 months) contract. The role will be based in one of the locations above on a hybrid set-up with 2/3 days in the office.
The ideal candidate will come from a finance background, having in depth knowledge of AML, Anti-corruption or standard banking regulations.
You’ll be working with a team, driving compliance across the business, being the SME for compliance related questions and issues, and working to resolve them directly or via your team. You’ll also be tasked with reviewing current state reviews, implementation and adherence of incoming compliance changes and reporting back to senior stakeholders on progress.
Key Responsibilities
* First class communication skills, verbal and written
* Experience in dealing with technical documents and legal/regulatory materials
* In-depth knowledge in one or more of:
o Banking regulations
o Consumer reporting
o Anti-corruption
o Tax
* Exceptional analytical skills and reporting
* Ability to review and understand complex situations with a view to:
o Resolve problems and compliance issues
o Plan for changes and potential issues/threats
o Set timelines and plans for concurrent workstreams
o Manage compliance monitoring
* Drive best practice and set the standard for a variety of audiences
