Day-to-day of the role:
* Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes, ensuring the highest quality and consistency.
* Work alongside another Chef and Kitchen Porters (KPs) to ensure smooth service.
* Manage kitchen stock and order supplies.
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene and follow the necessary health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and menus that reflect seasonal availability of ingredients.
* Engage with customers when necessary, providing a warm and friendly dining experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Chef with a strong track record in a similar environment.
* Ability to work flexibly and manage time effectively.
* Passion for using local, high-quality ingredients.
* Excellent cooking skills with a keen eye for presentation.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
