Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Wireman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and wiring, demonstrating proficiency with hand tools and power tools. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring and equipment.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
Interpret technical drawings and schematics to execute installations accurately.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues or hazards.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times while on-site.
Document work performed and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.
Skills
Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, and wire strippers.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring methods and safety practices.
Experience with power tools, including drills, saws, and testing equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
