Overview
St Edward's School, Oxford is looking for a well-organised Health Centre Assistant to join the Health Centre team. This is a part-time role supporting routine and emergency medical duties and contributing to a caring environment for pupils.
Base pay range: Salary: Competitive salary plus benefits. Contract: Permanent.
Key responsibilities
* Accompany pupils to routine and emergency medical appointments.
* liaise with parents, deliver and collect medication, and provide day-to-day support within the Health Centre.
This is a part-time role, working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday during academic terms (approximately 34 weeks per year). Working hours are 1:30pm to 7:30pm. First aid training will be provided.
About you
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with both children and adults.
* Good IT skills, especially with Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Experience in a similar role is not essential.
