Location: Highbridge Pay: £16.40 per hour Weekly PAYE Start Times: 07:00am starts Job Type: Temp-to-perm Working Pattern: Monday to Friday Start Date: Monday 22nd June Interviews: Week commencing 15th June Driver Hire Bridgwater & Taunton are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 / Cat C Driver to join one of our clients based near Highbridge on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for regular Monday to Friday work, with the potential to secure a permanent role if successful. The Role You will be responsible for delivering items to major events and then collecting products once the events have finished. This is not a multi-drop role. The work usually involves around 1 to 3 drops per day, or bulk deliveries and collections of event-related items. Duties will include: Driving a Class 2 / Cat C vehicle Delivering items to major event locations Collecting products after events have finished Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork Working independently and managing your day professionally Representing the client in a positive and professional manner During busy periods, working hours may be longer depending on event schedules and operational requirements. For around two weeks of the year, there may be a requirement to complete night work for certain events. This is very rare, but candidates must be flexible where needed.
