Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Coffee Shop assistant manager to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and a welcoming atmosphere. You will lead the team, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
We are a family run business in Bourton on the water opening times 9:30-5:30.
we are a busy fast past environment, a suitable candidate would have previous managerial and barista experience.
Duties
* Supervise daily coffee shop operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to company policies.
* Ensure displays are full and replenished through out the day.
* Train, mentor, and manage staff to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
* Assist in food preparation and maintain cleanliness in accordance with food safety regulations.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
* prepare daily bakes and products to be sold.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards within the coffee shop environment.
* cash handling and opening closing of the business.
Skills
* Proven experience in coffee shops, restaurant, settings is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively.
* Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for hospitality.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Previous experience in supervising or managing staff is an advantage.
* Light baking skills required
