Your new roleAs an Assistant Quality Assurance Manager, you will support the Quality Manager in maintaining and improving quality management systems and overall contract performance. This is a varied role where you will play a key part in quality assurance, audit coordination, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the contract.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting the implementation, monitoring, and review of the Quality Plan
2. Coordinating internal and external audit activities, including planning, evidence gathering, and tracking close-out actions
3. Monitoring quality performance and producing regular reports, dashboards, and insights
4. Maintaining quality documentation, trackers, and action logs (including NCRs and improvement actions)
5. Supporting investigations into quality issues, identifying root causes and corrective actions
6. Working closely with operational teams and subcontractors to ensurepliance with quality standards
7. Assisting with inspections, assurance checks, and audit programmes
8. Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and engagement across the contract
9. Deputising for the Quality Manager where required
This role will suit someone who enjoys working in a structured yet fast-paced environment and isfortable managing multiple priorities.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong understanding of quality assurance processes and experience supporting audits orpliance activities. You will also be confident working with stakeholders across operational teams.You will ideally have:
10. A qualification in quality, engineering, business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
11. Experience in quality assurance,pliance, audit coordination, or continuous improvement
12. A good understanding of quality management systems and audit processes
13. Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret performance data
14. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams
15. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
16. Strongmunication and stakeholder engagement skills
17. A proactive approach to identifying issues and driving improvements
18. A full UK driving licence
