At Flagship Group, we’re committed to providing outstanding homes and services to our tenants. We’re looking for a Multiskilled Operative(Multiskilled DFG Adaptation Fitter) to join our team and play a vital role in adapting and improving homes to meet the needs of our residents.
This is a full time role, working 40 hrs Monday-Thursday 8-5pm and Friday 8-2:30pm
What you'll be doing:
You’ll carry out a wide range of adaptation works on Flagship properties, including:
* level access shower adaptations
* all associated plumbing works
* external drainage works
* breaking out floors
* carpentry
* bricklaying
* plastering
* removing/rebuilding walls and making good
* door widening
* sliding door installations
* kitchen adaptations including full kitchen replacement and reconfiguration
* and other associated works as required
You’ll work efficiently and safely, using a variety of tools and equipment (including a Flagship Services vehicle), ensuring all work is completed to a high standard—first time, every time.
What we are looking for:
* A full trade apprenticeship or NVQ Level 2 in a relevant trade (or equivalent experience)
* Strong practical skills and the ability to assess and carry out repairs and adaptations
* Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
* Awareness of safeguarding and emergency response procedures
* Competency in Microsoft Outlook and Teams
* A full UK driving licence
