Lead Piping Engineer - 6 Month intial contract - Based in Leatherhead, Surrey
Our Client has a requirement for a Lead Piping Engineer who will be required to work on a Contract basis in Leatherhead.
Location - Leatherhead
Rate – Negotiable – Outside IR35
Project – KOC – Water treatment
Position Description:
1. We are looking for a Lead Piping Engineer with extensive experience leading FEED Design teams.
2. The individual should have experience in equipment / plant layout and piping design on Onshore Brownfield and Greenfield projects, working with E3D software.
3. Previous experience working with KOC (Kuwait Oil Company) is essential.
4. The candidate is required to lead the layout development for piping and the project by coordinating and providing guidance to Area Leads and Piping Designers across all parts of the plant scope.
5. The position also requires oversight of the Piping Mechanical group for completion of the Piping Stress and Materials activities.
6. The candidate is required to provide oversight and review for modelled equipment, pipework, preliminary structure, civil interfaces, and access/egress routes. A sound knowledge of stress and support requirements within a layout is essential.
