Operations Manager Salary: £45,000 + company car
Location: This is a hybrid/field-based role with the requirement to be in the Kent office twice a week.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 – 17:30.
This role presents a great opportunity to manage the delivery of services to a portfolio of clients. We are seeking a candidate that can drive service excellence and has experience leading and directing mobile field-based teams. This could be within the logistics sector, mobile services, keyholding or a similar industry.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. A positive people manager with experience leading field-based teams
2. Experience overseeing operations relating to route management, service delivery etc.
3. Strong process improvement skills
4. Strong experience in the logistics sector
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
1. Ultimate responsibility for the operational management of field-based teams
2. Drive service delivery and client satisfaction across accounts
3. Budget management
4. Management and leadership of teams
5. Regular client meetings across sites to ensure maximum client engagement
6. Manage the mobilisation of new contracts
7. Conduct and monitor staff appraisals including HR / disciplinary issues
8. Recruitment, training, and development
9. Production of high-quality reports to senior leadership teams and client contacts
10. Undertake site visits
11. Develop and maintain quality management systems to measure performance
12. Management of fleet vehicles
