Summary
We are seeking an Outreach Worker to join our innovative team in the heart of the community. This role, based in Great Britain, is pivotal in delivering our mission of providing affordable quality housing and intensive support services. As an Outreach Worker, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals transition to sustainable independent living.
Responsibilities
* Engage with individuals experiencing homelessness to assess their needs and provide tailored support.
* Collaborate with local authorities and housing associations to facilitate access to services.
* Develop and implement outreach programs that promote social networks and employment opportunities.
* Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress for each service user.
* Advocate for service users' rights and needs within the community.
* Organize workshops and training sessions to empower individuals towards independent living.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of outreach initiatives.
* Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support.
Qualifications * Proven experience in project management or leadership roles within a community or social services setting.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
* Familiarity with local resources available for individuals experiencing homelessness is preferred.
* Experience in fundraising or marketing is a plus.
