We are seeking an Engineering Operations Manager (ANPR, CCTV & Facilities) with a strong engineering background in electrical, electronic, or civil engineering to lead national engineering operations. This senior role combines strategy, leadership, and technical oversight, ensuring the installation, maintenance, and compliance of ANPR, CCTV, facilities, and wider infrastructure.
Engineering Operations Manager Role:
As the Engineering Operations Manager (ANPR, CCTV & Facilities), you'll be part of the senior leadership team, setting operational strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring service delivery excellence across the UK. You'll lead multi-skilled teams, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with ISO, H&S, and engineering standards while continually improving processes and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic leadership of engineering, facilities, and maintenance operations nationwide.
* Lead installation, maintenance, and performance of ANPR, CCTV, and related infrastructure.
* Apply engineering knowledge to future-proof systems and infrastructure projects.
* Ensure compliance with ISO standards, H&S, and environmental regulations.
* Manage budgets, procurement, and supplier contracts to deliver cost-effective results.
* Inspire, develop, and manage teams of engineers, supervisors, and civils specialists.
* Deliver infrastructure upgrades, technology pilots, and facilities development projects.
* Drive service improvements through data, reporting, and performance analysis.
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
* Strong engineering background in electrical, electronic, or civil engineering.
* Proven leadership experience in engineering operations, facilities, or security systems.
* In-depth technical knowledge of ANPR and CCTV systems.
* Experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering and maintenance teams.
* Demonstrated H&S and ISO compliance expertise (NEBOSH/IOSH certified).
* Excellent commercial and supplier management skills.
* Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel nationwide.
Desirable:
* Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status (IEng/CEng) or working towards it.
* Experience in smart mobility, parking infrastructure, or related sectors.
* Evidence of delivering cost savings, safety improvements, or service innovations.
* Exposure to new field technology or energy-efficient infrastructure.
