Learning and Development Trainer - Trustwide - Part Time
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us in the development of the workforce, using creative IT skills to create and deliver statutory and mandatory training and programmes which develop professional skills.
To deliver training across a variety of locations adhering to professional and license standards.
Main duties of the job
The suitable candidate will be able to demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for the development of staff in a variety of subjects. It is essential that you are a good communicator and be physically fit to undertake and deliver advanced physical intervention and other physical skills training on a daily basis.
To plan and create training course presentations and materials, ensuring content is up to date with professional standards and legislative requirements.
To provide training advice to support staff as required in the development of knowledge and competence to transition the learning into practice.

Job responsibilities
Maintain and demonstrate principles/ standards of training licences or affiliated courses, eg Safety Intervention, First Aid.
To ensure all training is delivered in a variety of ways to enable all learning styles to be accommodated and for course candidates to understand complicated information and/ or techniques.
As the suitable candidate will be expected to work across the whole trust, a driving license is essential.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Training/teaching qualification such as PTTLS / City & Guilds 730 / Cert Ed.
* Literacy and numeracy qualifications or GCSE pass grade A - C
Experience
* Demonstrate the ability to deliver a range of training techniques.
* Previous experience of working within a clinical setting.
* Significant Experience of delivering training courses and presentations
* Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
* Ability to work with initiative
* Ability to take charge of situations and gain support for actions from others
* Has good facilitation skills, engaging and encouraging contribution from all
