About The Post

We are passionate about helping adults to be independent and lead the lives which matter to them. The Quality Assurance and Service Improvement Team (QASI) helps the directorate to do this by acting as a critical friend to colleagues in adult social care. We also assist teams and managers to develop and deliver actions which help improve quality and outcomes for people.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high quality services through continuous improvement and reflection. To do this, it is essential that you have excellent analytical and communication skills. Experience of working with people across a variety of areas and with senior managers would be an advantage. The successful candidate must be creative and have the ability to work on their own initiative. Having experience of working in a regulated care environment would be advantageous.

The work will focus on ensuring that we fulfil our obligations under the Care Act and related legislation. It will help ensure that people receive timely and high quality assessments and where they need it safe and effective care and support. There will be opportunities to shape the new quality assurance framework for adult social care and lead activity designed to assess the quality and effectiveness of services.
