Multi Skilled Engineer
Scantec are working in partnership with a fantastic FMCG Food Manufacturer with a site just outside Sheffield. We're seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to join their large engineering maintenance team. Ideally you will be Elec Bias, but we are flexible on this.
Shifts:
This is working a 4on, 4off pattern. 7-7, 2x days, 2x nights.

Maintenance Engineer - Brief summary of responsibilities:
1. Continuous development of knowledge and familiarity with the engineering requirements of the site process systems and machinery
2. Work as an active part of a skilled cross functional planned maintenance team
3. Ensure correct Health & Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene standards are adhered to at all times
4. Ensure a fast and effective response especially under breakdown conditions
5. Quickly diagnose faults and take corrective action
6. Assist an support mechanical engineers with their duties
7. Actively participate in a Continuous Improvement culture throughout the site, constantly identifying opportunities to improve efficiency's and reduce waste
8. Assist in the training of fellow maintenance engineers, Operator-Technicians and others where necessary
9. Ensure planned maintenance work is completed to strict schedules, and constantly look for improvements that will ensure reliability of equipment is improved
10. Ensure good working practices are adhered to throughout
11. Work on various projects including installation and modifications to plant and equipment.
Required skills and experience:
Ideally you'll be an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer with the appropriate engineering quals. Experience within a fast paced FMCG Manufacturing environment is essential. 17th / 18th edition is an advantage as full development and training can be provided.
