Role: External Sales Manager
Location: Epsom
Pay rate/Salary: Base Salary £40k to £50k + Bonus Available
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday
Type: Permanent – Office/Field based
Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)
My client is a leading Electrical Wholesaler, one of the largest in the UK, recruiting for an External Sales Manager at their Epsom Branch.
The Role of Sales Manager:
* Growing and increasing sales in the branch’s geographical area.
* Identifying and developing new and existing business accounts.
* Developing strong customer relationships to maximise the full potential of all accounts.
* Being resilient and persistent, handling rejection professionally.
* Working as part of a team to achieve high standards of business excellence.
Essential Sales Manager Skills:
* Electrical Wholesale experience
* Cold calling on the telephone with willingness and tenacity
* Approaching companies directly, identifying suitable target companies
* Confidently demonstrating sample products face-to-face to potential clients
* Building and maintaining professional relationships
* Planning, organising, and working to tight deadlines independently
* Smartly presented, portraying a professional company image
* Valid UK driving licence
Desirable Sales Manager Skills:
* Punctual, reliable, and effective time management
* Career-focused, hardworking, and ambitious
* Strong telephone skills
* Positive, driven, with excellent listening and communication skills
* Experience in the wholesale industry is advantageous but not essential
