Are you passionate about amplifying young people’s voices and creating meaningful change?
We’re looking for a creative, organised Participation and Project Officer to support engagement and research projects with young people, parents, and carers, ensuring their experiences shape decisions, policy, and practice.
You’ll plan and deliver inspiring workshops, focus groups, and educational resources, and bring excellent communication skills, from engaging with young people to crafting impactful content.
We’re also looking for someone who can edit and maintain our educational websites (WordPress and Squarespace), support lesson planning, and confidently run insight sessions both in the UK and internationally.
You’ll work from our Cowbridge office (with some remote working options) and join a supportive, mission-driven team making a real difference.
* This role involves working on highly sensitive and emotionally challenging topics, including child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSEA). Candidates must be prepared to engage with distressing material as part of their work and demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and ethical responsibility. Emotional resilience, discretion, and a deep understanding of the importance of trauma-informed practices are essential. We offer training and support to ensure staff wellbeing, including regular supervision and access to mental health resources.
What you’ll bring:
Experience working with young people, including in vulnerable circumstances
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to plan workshops and educational resources
Confidence editing websites (WordPress and Squarespace)
Willingness to travel internationally and work flexibly
