Endurance Care - Broadstairs are currently recruiting for a Service Manager to join our team to cover maternity leave.
We have a range of services throughout Broadstairs, including a 6-bed Residential unit and six, two to four-bed Supported living flats, all supporting adults with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and complex needs.
“My name is Andrew, and I currently live in a shared supported living flat. My interests include making air fix models and visiting historical and English heritage sites. I sometimes need help from my support staff to budget my finances, manage my medication, cook meals, keep my space clean and tidy, and talk through worries. I also enjoy having company and someone to go for a coffee with.”

The Service Manager Position:
As a Service Manager, you will promote and ensure that the company's vision of person-centered support is implemented, maintaining individuals’ potential and independence. You will be a front-line manager, working directly on care delivery and ensuring all back-office duties are completed in compliance.
We seek a Service Manager who can energize, motivate, and lead team members in a supportive environment, helping them build supportive relationships that contribute to a good quality of life and positive outcomes for each person supported.
About the role
* Supporting the manager in staff development and training delivery.
* Leading a team of 5 team leaders.
* Promoting each individual’s well-being, safety, and quality of life.
* Monitoring and assisting in the delivery of group and individual activities aligned with individual goals and well-being measures.
* Being present in the services with a hands-on approach while managing administrative responsibilities.
* Working in accordance with company values, policies, procedures, legislation, and national standards.
* Coordinating effectively with external parties and communicating with the home manager to ensure consistent communication within the home.
About you
* Extensive experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, mental health issues, or complex behaviors across multiple sites.
* A driving license and access to a vehicle for travel within services.
* Holding a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent experience.
* Experience in multisite management.
* Proven leadership, supervision, and motivation skills.
* Above all, kindness, friendliness, and honesty to ensure person-centered care.
