Job Description
As a Nuclear Project Planner, you will join Derby team to support our activities within the Nuclear sector.
We are looking for an experienced planner to play a key role in the successful delivery of a major nuclear project. You will be part of a dedicated project controls team, driving the planning function to ensure milestones are met, risks are managed, and the programme stays on track.
* Location: Derby/ Manchester/ Warrington
* On Site: 1-2 days per week
* Clearance: BPSS
* Experience Level: 1- 10 YOE
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
* Perform Critical Path Analysis (CPA) to ensure project efficiency.
* Manage resource planning and task scheduling to align with project goals.
* Interface with nuclear regulatory bodies and construction teams where required.
* Support project execution in compliance with NEC3/NEC4 contracts and industry regulations.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
* Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6.
* Proven experience as a Project Planner or Project Scheduler, with ability to demonstrate methods and approaches used.
* Strong background in Critical Path Analysis, Resource Planning, and Task Scheduling.
* Desirable familiarity with nuclear regulatory processes and construction interfaces.
* Experience working with NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or master’s degree in project, construction management or mechanical engineering or a related field in engineering, Planning or Delivery management. or equivalent military experience.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience in nuclear, power generation, or other safety-critical industries
