Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of people living with dementia and their carers? Our Carer Relief Service provides vital support within the community, giving carers the opportunity to take quality time away from their caring role while ensuring their loved ones remain safe and comfortable at home.
As a Carer Response Worker, you will:
1. Deliver flexible support ranging from a few hours to a full day, based on individual needs.
2. Provide emergency cover when carers face unexpected situations, helping the cared-for person remain in their own home environment.
3. Work across the East Riding, so a full driving license and access to a car are essential.
Contract Details:
4. 20 hours per week on a 7-day rolling rota.
5. Participate in an on-call emergency standby rota (up to 12 hours), with standby allowance and additional pay for call-outs.
