As our new Shop Assistant, you will help us create a well-presented shop where customers receive excellent service. Your responsibilities include:
1. Sorting and sizing stock, assisting customers, and moving stock, which may involve lifting heavy items.
2. Maximising donated income through proactive stock generation, optimal pricing, processing stock to agreed levels, and stock planning.
3. Maintaining high standards of merchandising and housekeeping, prioritising health and safety.
4. Managing effective stock processes to ensure the shop is well merchandised with fresh, seasonal stock.
5. Acting as a brand ambassador for Sue Ryder, supporting in-store campaigns to promote the brand and fundraising initiatives.

As part of our retail team, you'll help generate vital funds to sustain our services.
We value our staff highly and strive to ensure you feel valued and included. Most retail work occurs on weekends, with managers typically working only one in two weekends. Shops usually close by 5:15 pm, with earliest start at 8:45 am. We have Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day off.
