We are looking for a Clinical Leader for our hospital to help us build a healthier nation.You’reregistered with theappropriate governingbodyand you have the relevant qualifications and post registration in surgery/anaesthetics experience, including as a Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner. With strong clinical leadership, you will guide your team a shared vision promoting innovation and sustainability. As a clinical leader, you will havegood communicationand organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team, knowledge and understanding of running a smooth & effective department equipment is also essential.
As our Clinical Leader, you will:
1. Conduct and organize the Clinical/ Surgical and Endoscopy team within theatre, which include the smooth running of the theatre lists and organizing booking forms andassistingsessions in theatres
2. Work collaboratively and flexibly across the theatre suites to accommodate the service demands of each department, which include Endoscopy, General,Orthopedics, Gynae
3. Promote effective clinical risk management and governance within the department, includingsafteyand risk management, quality improvement and ensure policies and procedure, to enhance patient care and service delivery.
4. Have extensive knowledgerequiredfor dealing with audits and equipment.
5. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of surgical techniques and associated equipment
6. Haveample opportunitiesfor continuous growth and personal development, which can include Surgical First Assist training.

Located in Jesmond; you will be working at one of the north easts leading private hospitals, with a Good CQC rating, we have 27 en-suite private bedrooms, 3 state-of-the-art operating theatres, a dedicated breast care unit. We offer on-site pathology services and diagnostic imaging including CT and MRI, to help patients after surgery we have on-site physiotherapy specialists. We have a special focus in the areas of orthopaedics, spinal surgery, ophthalmology, weight loss surgery and cosmetic treatment.
