Key responsibilities * Organise service schedules / visits * Adjust machines, instruments, and components using measuring and diagnostic equipment to ensure specific settings are in line with standards or requirements * Perform tests, troubleshoot, resolve issues, document results and prepare technical reports * Wiring, crimp terminals, soldering, and bench testing * Set up equipment such as PCs, Barcode Readers, and Printers * Understand and work within Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) and Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) * Work to ISO 9001: 2015 standard Key skills & experience * Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical or electrical engineering * Must demonstrate a high willingness to learn, dedication, organisation, good hand-eye co-ordination, and attention to detail * Must be willing to provide out-of-hours coverage for one week every 4-6 weeks after 6-month probationary period (additional pay of £150 per day) * Strong communication skills and a good client manner * Basic level of physical fitness and ability to lift weights up to 20kg * Comfort with numbers and basic computer programmes, particularly Microsoft Office * Willingness to stay away 2-3 nights per week * Full UK Drivers License Benefits * Annual Salary: £40,000 * £150 per day when covering out-of-hours (one week out of every 4-6 week period after 6-month probationary period) * Attractive annual bonus opportunity * 6% pension contribution * 23 days leave with an additional day for each year of service, up to a maximum of 28, * Additional benefits, including a company gym membership and salary sacrifice schemes for bikes and cars
