About the Role
Footballco is looking for a Middleweight/Senior Creative (Conceptual/Copy background) who has extensive experience and a standout portfolio to join our branded content team. The Middleweight/Senior Creative is responsible for guiding and transforming a campaign’s creative strategy into award-worthy work. They will be responsible for coming up with innovative ideas that give our clients exactly what they want, but also what they’d never expect – all whilst balancing the needs of the Footballco audience and our advertisers. As a Middleweight/Senior creative, they will be confident when it comes to all aspects of the creative process and seeing a campaign through, from ideation to execution, presentation and production.
This person will work on a variety of projects, pitches and proactive pieces, whilst collaborating with multiple teams, and ensuring Footballco’s creative product is of the highest standard.
This position is based in our London offices.

What you'll be doing:
* Conceive and execute ambitious branded campaigns that will delight our clients and Footballco’s enormous global audience.
* Partner closely with our strategy team to build rich creative ideas from unique audience insights that only Footballco is uniquely able to uncover.
* Work with sales, marketing, branded creative, and editorial teams on campaign development.
* Collaborate with writers, directors, editors, producers, designers and any other necessary talent on a program.
* Direct videos when necessary at a high level and confidently communicate your creative vision to production and post-production teams.
* Dream up "never been done before" programs that help win new business.
* Partner with other functions across Footballco to develop ideas and executions that ladder up to big ideas.
* Play a leading role in the creative decision making on assigned campaigns: Oversee and manage the development from treatments to scripts to final edits to distribution; maintain accountability for the success of the campaign.
* Partner with clients throughout the production process to maintain balance between the campaign’s objectives as well as creative vision & best practices.
* Work closely with creative leadership to continuously bring new ideas to the table through experimentation and iteration.
* Assume ultimate responsibility for quality and accuracy of the end product of all creative team members.
* Ensure ideas can happen relative to budgets, timing, and capabilities.
What you have:
* creative portfolio full of diverse thinking, award-winning work and eye-catching art direction.
* 5-10 years experience working as a Middleweight/Senior Creative in top creative agencies - football media, editorial, or journalism is a plus.
* A passion for big thinking and craft across a number of creative channels
* A love for the beautiful game and all that it touches – fashion, music, gaming, culture…
* An interest in and deep knowledge of social web, including experience producing work for a variety of platforms and social networks
* Excellent communication/presentation skills and an ability to inspire internal and external stakeholders with your storytelling and ideas
* A can-do attitude and the willingness to help shape the creative culture within the agency
* Ability to analyse content trends and audience insights and translate those to new branded content opportunities.
* Curiosity and willingness to play. You may get the opportunity to work on editorial projects or initiatives outside of pure branded work, especially surrounding the largest football events such as the World Cup, Euros, or etc.
